I am excited to update you on whats been happening with Pregnancy Moon: Birth Preparation in Paradise!

The short story:

Pregnancy Moon is now a long weekend, February 12-14, and the program has been optimized into a 3-day program from Friday-Sunday.

And we’ve significantly reduced the cost required to attend. Check it out here:

The long story, for those of you who love the details:

I’ve loved taking in all your feedback. It’s really helped me understand how best to cater for all you mummas and poppas to-be. The most common feedback was:

“Sorry Red, we already had Chinese New Year plans”

“Red, five days is a big commitment”

And so I listened, had a rethink, sat with it all, discussed with a few more people and realized it was time to let go of my ideal vision…for now.

It was a good opportunity to feel into flow, and it wasn’t there in my plan. It was blocked.

A long romantic week of rose petal baths, pampering and luxuriating would have to wait. We live in a world where maternity and paternity leave is so short parents rightfully want to save the days up for when baby is here. I was looking at either cancelling the event or explore other ways to make it work.

In that letting go the magic began to happen. And the flow started again.

While in Bali on Christmas holiday I was staying in a lovely villa in Sanur. What a special spot. A few minutes walk from the prime area of beach, restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Incredibly it turns out the woman of the home, Fiona, is a home birth midwife; nothing happens by chance! One thing led to another and with very little effort a new plan was born.

We will do the full Hypnobirthing program and still have time to be nurtured with massage, ride bikes or walk on the beach and swim in the salt-water pool at the villa or at the beach.

We will wrap up on Valentines day starting with a sunrise at the beach, and Fiona will lead us in a water ritual to cleanse the soul and welcome the new.

As soon as I ran this past a few couples the bookings flowed; my dream of Pregnancy Moon is happening.

The flow has been restored and it was all in the letting go!

A wonderful metaphor for birth and everything else in life. Sometimes the universe has a better plan in place then we do and we need to be ready to let go in order to embrace it.

Love Red
